Guilin and YangshuoThere are many ways to get to Guilin and Yangshuo, most of which are listed below. Guilin is a major hub for transport links with an International airport and two train stations. Taxis and private cars with drivers are available to take you to and from the airport if you are staying in or around Guilin and Yangshuo. Guilin Southern Train Station serves as the main rail link in the city. Buses also arrive and depart to and from Yangshuo here. Guilin also has another bus station that provides connections with local towns and cities as well as Yangshuo. (See Buses below). The most relaxed way to arrive in Yangshuo from Guilin is of course the famous Li River Cruise that allows you to observe the fantastic scenery along this famous river.(See below). Yangshuo is a small town with no airport or train station. However, the bus station has sleeper busese that connect the town with Shenzhen, Guangzou and Zhujia. The road to Guandong Province (namely Guangzou and Shenzhen) is not in the best condition, so the journey is not the most comfortable. A new expressway is set to open next year which will allow easier road travel between Guandong and Guilin /Yangshuo. Buses will always pass Yangshuo although the service is based in Guilin.
