I went on a trip with Mulan last November with a friend from school and we both admitted that we have never laughed so much in our lives. Mulan was great. Not only did she educate us on the culture and history of the area but was also a great joy to be around. She wsa very funny. We had many interesting experiences with her, including rafting down the river, the Zhang Yimou show, HOMA hotel, and mud baths. We went on a cruise down the Li River and around yangshuo on a bike.

I think my favorite experience was visiting the ancient Ming village. We were able to witness a burial ceremony. We met a few locals, as well as tasting raw peanut right from the ground.

The area is very relaxing and many ppl warned that is was boring. But that was not the case at all! I had a blast and would love to go on another tour with Mulan. My friend and I want to bring Mulan to Europe and have her join us on a tour there. If I hear that anyone wants to go to Guilin I will quickly recommend Mulan to them.

I think Mulan’s tour was one of the best times of my life. The hike, the traffic jam, the Chinese movie on the bus, our walk through the traffic, the dried fruit I ate, the boat ride under the bridge of wishes, the crazy bus ride back to town, the balloon ride and the minority show under the stars. Perfect!
