About Mulan and her Tours around Guilin, Yangshuo and Guizhou
Mulan's friends and fellow tour-guides are fluent English speakers. They all have a great sense of humour with fun-loving personalities and above all they really love their jobs and take pride in their work. She also has many contacts throughout China. I'm a tour guide with 5 years work experiences. My job is to make sure the travelers and tourists are happy by guiding them around. When I got the certification for tour guides, at that moment, I knew it was the right decision. I love it. I'm an outgoing girl. I like traveling and I love my hometown and I'm quite familiar with all the villages here. I'd like to introduce my beautiful hometown to you and show you the real local Chinese life, culture and customs. It's not only a job, it's my life. That is the main reason why do I love the job. Even if you have some travel experiences in big cities or villages in China, when you visit here, I promise you will be impressed. The trip will make your vacation a pleasure and an unforgettable experience. Among the karst mountains, rivers and old stone bridges, we will experience the traditional Chinese life which has been described in Chinese ink-paintings. In the villages, we will go to visit farmer’s homes. Plus if you like, join local families for a meal. They are warm and hospitality, so you won't feel embarrassed or awkward when communicating with them, even though you don't speak the same language. In the villages, there are ancient buildings which are hundreds of years old, nestled among the mountains and rivers. Some still have people living there. There are very few visitors. Only farmers who are from the other villages pass by. I'd say the old buildings are more simple and charming. All the things mentioned in the above paragraph, I have already included in the tour plans for you. The travel agencies normally take you to visit common tourist places where everybody goes. Many people get no chance to understand and experience the real rural life here. That's why I arrange the private tour instead of working in a travel agency.
