Guilin: The Eight Angle Mountains and Zijiang River
Located about 107 km from Guilin city, this area is one of the main scenic areas located in Ziyuan County. The county is in the northeast region of Guangxi Province. You can see a region of breathtaking natural beauty which is largely untouched by tourism.

The Eight-Angle Mountains derives its name from the eight peaks of the mountain range that seem to shoot up at seemingly impossible angles. Approximately 40 square kilometers in total are filled with unusual rock formations.

The Zijiang River winds its way around many of these peaks with its length totally nearly 23 kilometres. There are also many riverside villages that will give any traveler a unique glimpse of the rural lifestyle of the region’s inhabitants.
