Cruises Between Yangdi and XingpingThe stretch of the river between Yangdi and Xingping is the most beautiful. However, you can only take a bamboo raft or a small fishing boat on this two hour cruise between the towns.Commonly people catch a local bus to Yangdi at the Yangshuo bus station. They then take a boat down to Xingping before catching another local bus back to Yangshuo. These boats are not properly licensed by the local government, so they do not run regularly. You need to book in advance. You can also take the short boat trip to the fishing village from Xingping. Some of the buildings date back to the Qing Dynasty. Bill Clinton visited here in 1998.
