Share Your Photos

Share your photos of Guilin , Yangshuo and Guizhou Province. You can upload up to 4 photos and we will regularly feature the best shots taken by our visitors on our homepage. Visitors can comment on and add a star rating for the photos. They can also vote for their favourites by clicking on the social network buttons; “Facebook like”, “Tweet” and “Google +”. Photos with a large amount of votes will be shown on our homepage. Every submission will be approved and then displayed on an individual webpage. We will dedicate a whole page to your photos and your introductory story.

We’d be grateful if you could introduce your photo(s) and give us some information to accompany them on the webpage. Here are a few suggestions on what you can include:

When/ Where the photo was taken

What the weather was like at that time

Any interesting or funny stories about that moment

Why the photo is so special to you or how it is representative of the area

Note: Photos should be taken by you or your children or you must have permission if you are submitting photos on behalf of others. We also accept watermarked photos if you are concerned about other people using your pics for commercial use.

If you are having trouble uploading photos with a large memory size, you can crop and edit using picnik. Photos should be 1000 pixels or less.

Voting and Comments

After uploading a photo you can vote for yourself and click the social network buttons; “Facebook like”, “Tweet” and Google +. This means you can share the photo with your friends and encourage them to vote for you. Visitors can also comment about photos and add a start rating.
