(Buckland) was established in 1999 as a government licensed, private education recruitment and management company. The group is dedicated to promoting English & Chinese Bilingual Education and has developed over 62 franchised schools throughout China. Their headquarters is based in Hong Kong and their primary operations office is in Yangshuo.
Owen Buckland recruits English teachers and helps place them in positions around China. They focus on finding the most ideal placement that suits both the teachers and requirements of the respective schools. They emphasise the value of cross-cultural communication & cooperation. 
They can also provide TESOL training and run several programs in Yangshuo. These include teaching at Owen College, a cultural and language exchange program as well as a volunteer English program (VET). The latter gives students of all ages and backgrounds in the area a chance to enhance their English language skills.
