Caving is a very popular activity in Yangshuo. The limestone stalactites and stalagmites formations are quite stunning and come in all shapes and sizes. The town has the biggest caves in Guangxi province. Some are open to visitors.
Longmen Cave is particularly interesting because you can actually take a boat on an underground stream in the cave as well as do some climbing. Most travelers love to take a mud bath if they visit the area in the summer. This is a lot of fun and provides some great photo opportunities!
